Where Were You When My Child Was 3?

Is a project through which Fledglings, supported by the Big Lottery’s Awards for All scheme aim to ensure that families of disabled children are aware of products and services to meet their children’s needs.

To do this, Fledglings has created a meeting space where parents, charity staff and other professionals can meet to hear from families about their individual needs and aspirations for their children. We hope that this will help us to respond more appropriately to requests for help, to provide the information that families really need and to help us identify the best new products to address identified needs.

Fledglings has also created a demonstration area to showcase a range of products we already have available about which many parents may be unaware.

We regret that our offices do not have disabled access and this event is for parents, friends and professionals only. Sadly, we have no facilities for children. Parking during the day is not available on site but there is ample parking at the adjacent Audley End railway station on the Cambridge- London Liverpool Street line. After 5.30 p.m. some parking will be available on site. Our postcode for Satnav use is CB11 4LB.
