The Fledglings shop is run by Contact, the charity for families with disabled children. Contact brings families together to support each other and help families to campaign, volunteer and fundraise to improve life for themselves and others.

Lived and worked in Switzerland, Brazil, Australia and the UK. Tony is also Chair of Fledglings.
Extensive experience as a teacher working with children with a variety of additional needs within mainstream school settings. A tutor to PGCE trainees and experience in educational publishing.
Until September 2015, a Consultant Anaesthetist and Associate Lecturer at Cambridge University Hospitals, with a special interest in paediatrics and post-operative pain relief. Experienced in teaching and mentoring trainee anaesthetists and clinical medical students. Emeritus Fellow and previously a Trustee of Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge.
A highly experienced human resources professional having spent thirty years managing human resource functions in major UK academic research institutes.
A recent graduate of Cambridge University and former President of Homerton Union of Students. A graduate trainee with Charity Works now working for MIND coordinating pro bono, corporate volunteering, and gift-in-kind opportunities for corporate partners across the Mind network.
With a background in environmental health and an experienced primary school teacher Carol brings a unique understanding of the educational needs of children and their parents.
A leadership coach and mentor with extensive experience of marketing services industry. Simon is also a governor at Great Ormond Street Hospital where he’s particularity passionate about reasonable adjustments for patients and parents with learning disabilities. Simon brings his lived experience to the Fledglings Board as a very proud father of a daughter with global development delay.
An experienced qualified accountant, who manages a small team and assists clients with a range of services, including tax planning, financial accounts, tax return preparation, and helps them to understand their financial information in order to make informed business decisions. Charlotte has several years of experience with dealing with the financial information for Charities, and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
